No — the palace is a private home available only for exclusive group rentals (minimum two nights).
You’re booking the entire castle and its grounds, not individual rooms.
No other guests. No overlapping events. Just your group.
Whether it’s a wedding, a company offsite, or a big family retreat, you have complete privacy and freedom to use the estate within your rental period.
No — we only rent the whole estate for multi-day private stays.
We don’t offer ballroom-only, day rentals, or short event bookings.
No — there is a two-night minimum.
It’s meant to feel unhurried and immersive, not rushed.
Yes.

You can also stay overnight during one of our occasional individual-suite stays — join The List to be the first to hear about released dates.
We offer one complimentary site visit (subject to availability). Additional visits can be arranged according to availability (a small fee applies). You can revisit the virtual tour anytime between visits.
No — it’s a private home. To protect guest privacy and the calm of the estate, the castle and grounds aren’t open to visitors.
Yes — we offer paid outdoor sessions or full-access shoots. Just contact us for details.

Arrival: 15:00
Departure: 11:00
These times ensure we have enough time to reset the estate between groups.
No — your rental begins at 15:00, so:
• no early vendor setups
• no early drop-offs
• no kitchen prep
• no late departures
Vendors must clean and remove everything by 11:00.
If early access becomes possible (only when no other booking is adjacent), we can confirm this about a week before. Fees apply.
No — the estate is rented self-catered.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and most groups love cooking together.
If you prefer an easier start, you can add our Stock-the-Pantry service:
It’s not prepared meals — just good ingredients to make cooking easy and enjoyable while rooted in the local context.
• 35% non-refundable deposit to secure the dates
• Remaining balance due 4 weeks before arrival
In special cases (family emergencies, travel restrictions), we may offer a voucher or rescheduling.

Yes — the estate is available for intimate weddings, birthdays, retreats, and company offsites.
Every stay is exclusive-use, meaning your group has the entire property to yourselves for the duration of your rental.
Up to 46 overnight guests (40 beds depending on setup).
• The ballroom seats 60 guests + the couple/host(s).
• Up to 74 guests can be hosted when seating across two rooms.
If you’re self-catering or your guest count exceeds 60 + the couple, you’ll need to rent all event furniture and tableware externally.
That includes:
• banquet tables
• chairs
• linens
• plates, cutlery, glassware
• any additional service equipment your caterer requires
Outside of event times, all facilities are intended for overnight guests only.
No.
These limits ensure comfort, safety, and the quality of the experience.
Exceeding capacity risks forfeiting the booking.
Our sweet spot is 20–40 guests, sometimes up to 40–60.
We very rarely go higher than 60 + the couple — the experience stops feeling intimate.
Maximum capacity is 74 day guests.
This limit is strict. It’s based on real infrastructure: bathrooms, plumping, parking, and guest comfort.
If a group exceeds 74 guests, the booking is forfeited at the renter’s cost.
The estate simply isn’t designed for larger events.
Keeping things small ensures the atmosphere, comfort, and quality The Palace at Osowa Sien is known for.
Yes — outdoor ceremonies and dinners are beautiful here.
If you’d like to dine outdoors, you’ll need to consider renting professional infrastructure, including:
Because weather can change quickly, a tent must be treated as your primary plan, not a last-minute Plan B. Everything — guest flow, layout, rentals, vendor setups — needs to be fully thought through in advance.
Please note:
Outdoor/tented weddings cannot exceed 74 guests
The estate’s parking, water, and general logistics are designed for intimate celebrations, not large-scale events
Outdoor weddings here are magical — just be sure to plan them intentionally and with the right structure in place.
No — vendors don’t count toward your guest total.
Guest numbers refer only to your invited guests (those staying overnight or seated at the table).
Yes — all children count toward the day guest total.
For sleeping capacity, infants in cribs do not count.
Yes — we have 2 cribs and 2 high chairs available.
Just let us know ahead of time so we can have them ready.
If you need more than this, you’re welcome to bring your own.
No — we don’t offer babysitting, and we’re not able to arrange it on your behalf. If you need childcare, you can check Niania.pl — it’s a platform where you can browse local babysitter profiles directly.
We have standard EU power (230V) throughout the estate.
We do not have three-phase power / 400V.
For 99% of professionals, this is completely normal — our own catering team, DJs, and musicians work with it without any issues.
If a vendor requires large commercial equipment or insists on 400V, they must bring (or rent) their own external power source such as a small generator. They should know this in advance and adjust their quote accordingly.
In short:
Standard equipment = works perfectly here.
High-demand commercial setups = bring your own power.
Yes — until 22:00 outdoors (countryside quiet hours).
After that, move indoors.
There is no indoor curfew — the castle walls do the rest.
No — The Palace at Osowa Sien is a private home, not a hotel or restaurant.
Dining is available only to overnight guests, either self-catered or pre-arranged.
During a group stay, you can choose:
• Fully self-catered
• Bring your own private chef or external caterer
• Book our Castle Feast (our signature seasonal dinner)
• Use our Stock-the-Pantry service for easy breakfasts & supplies
Our catering is centered around The Castle Feast — a five-course, seasonal dinner hosted in the ballroom. It’s relaxed, generous, and rooted in old-world hospitality.
What we take care of:
• A natural, understated table setting
• Floor-length linens
• Stoneware, glassware, cotton serviettes
• Full service throughout the meal
• Complete cleanup after
Pricing:
• From €90 / 380 zł per person + VAT
• Optional add-ons: cheese & charcuterie, sweet and savoury late-night tables, drink options
VAT: 8% on food, 23% on alcohol
For the full Feast PDF, email hello@castlerental.com.
• Table setup (banquet chairs, tables, linens, individual place settings)
• Full service for the duration of the meal
• Clearing & full cleanup afterward
• Coffee, tea, still & sparkling water included
Yes — absolutely.
If you hire an external barman, they must:
• provide their own glassware
• manage their own washing / collecting / replenishing
• bring and manage their own ice
Do you offer wine, beer, or alcohol-free options?
Yes. If we're catering The Feast — you can add:
• local champagne-method sparkling wine
• wine carafes
• local craft beer
• alcohol-free options
And you can still bring your own drinks (no corkage).
Yes — most diets can be accommodated:
vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, GERD, FODMAP, keto, autoimmune-friendly.
If we're catering The Feast, please share dietary notes 4–8 weeks before arrival.
Not in the traditional sense — and that’s intentional.
Our menus are seasonal, personal, and handcrafted by your hosts, Jamie & Matty.
No cookie-cutter options.
The Feast PDF includes one sample menu to show the style, pacing, and feel of the food.
You’ll also see similar flavours in the recipes and stories on our blog.
Think:
buttermilk & apple-peel chicken quarters, miso–mirin mushroom steak, pulled pork with local apples and Greek brandy, or grass-fed local beef tenderloin in wine jus (upgrade).
No separate kids’ menus — the food is naturally kid-friendly (i..e chicken, pasta, potatoes)
Pricing:
• Ages 0–2: free (no seat at the table)
• Ages 3–8: 75% of adult price
• Ages 9+: adult pricing
Usually 2–3 hours, often with a short pause between mains and dessert.
Additional tables (cheese/charcuterie, sweet & savory late-night) run 60–90 minutes.
Our style is relaxed and unhurried — never rushed.
Dinner start time: 18:00–19:30
Dinner end time: 20:00 - 22:00
Desserts / sweet table: ~22:00, after guests have mingled and digested a little.
No — we’re not a restaurant, so we don’t offer tastings.
But you can experience the atmosphere during one of our rare individual-suite stays when the castle is not booked privately. Join The List to be notified.
Yes — portions are generous and designed with abundance in mind.
No one leaves hungry. Promise.
Small adjustments are usually possible (for example, upgrading to local beef or opting for an add-on such as local cheese and charcuterie), depending on timing and availability.
Final menu details are confirmed closer to your stay.
Cancellations of food or services after booking are not possible, as ingredients, prep time, and staffing are secured in advance.
Yes — you can absolutely book the castle now and add services later.
A few important notes:
• Services aren’t held automatically when you reserve the castle.
• Availability, pricing, and offer details can change until a service is officially booked with a non-refundable deposit.
• We can only secure staff, ingredients, and suppliers after you confirm and make payment.
• All services (Feast, Stock-the-Pantry, massages, housekeeping) must be booked in advance, ideally several months before your stay.
In short:
You’re welcome to start with the castle rental and add services when you’re ready — just keep in mind that nothing is guaranteed until it’s confirmed.
Yes — up to ±10 guests until 4 weeks before arrival.
After that, the final count is fixed for planning and ingredients.
Yes — full cleanup of the dining and prep spaces, including dishwashing throughout the evening. We also keep common areas tidy (terrace, spa, shared WCs) during this time.
External caterers must manage their own staff and cleanup crews.
No — we don’t have an in-house bar team as it's a private home.
If you’d like a staffed bar, we suggest opting for local teams such as MoreLove or Dym i Lustra.
If you hire a bar team, they must be fully self-sufficient.
This includes:
Please double-check that these items are included in their offer — they often aren’t unless specifically requested.
If we cater: we do (food-related cleanup only).
External vendors (caterers, florists, planners, bar teams) must clean and remove all items before 11:00 departure.
Stock-the-Pantry: A simple, self-service ordering option.
Choose from sourdough breads, local cheeses, free-range eggs, pantry staples, cold-pressed juices, wine, beer, village charcuterie, raw fish, meats, and more. Everything is seasonal and top-quality — you just pick what you want, pay, and it will all be waiting in the kitchen when you arrive.
This isn’t a prepared meal — just beautifully curated ingredients that make cooking easy and delicious, whether you’re planning breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
No — housekeeping is an optional, paid add-on.
What does housekeeping include?
When booked, housekeeping covers cleaning of rooms and common areas, including:
• bathrooms & spa areas
• replacing and washing towels
• corridors and shared spaces
• floors
• light tidying of guest rooms (if desired)
It’s home-style housekeeping — not kitchen support.
Housekeeping does NOT include:
• cooking
• meal prep
• serving
• table setting
• washing dishes
• clearing after meals
• managing food logistics
Think of it like a home:
Whoever cooks, cleans the kitchen.
The palace is a private home, not a hotel.
There’s no staff on hand unless you book specific services.
Your group handles:
• cooking
• serving and plating
• table setup
• clearing and dishes
• meal timing & coordination
For groups of 20–50, it helps to have:
• someone leading meal logistics and timing
• a couple of helpers for cooking and for setup/clearing
• a little structure so the week/weekend stays relaxed
Yes — external caterers are welcome, but they must be fully self-sufficient.
This means they bring:
• their own staff
• all equipment
• glassware/plates if needed
• serving supplies
• garbage removal (offiste)
• setup & cleanup teams
One cook for 50 guests does NOT work.
Please make sure your team is sized appropriately.
Yes — the kitchen is available 24/7.
Cook, bake, or make coffee just as you would at home.
The kitchen is fully equipped for home-style cooking, not restaurant service.
It easily supports meal prep for all overnight guests.
Includes:
• 2 sinks + 2 dishwashers
• 2 small ovens + stovetop + 2 portable burners
• 2 food warmers (bring your own fuel cans)
• pots, pans, knives, utensils, cutting boards
• everyday plates, glassware, cutlery (for all overnight guests)
• blender, juicer, baking tins
• salt, pepper, oil, shared spices
It’s ideal for relaxed, family-style meals.
Not quite — the kitchen has everyday plates, glasses, and cutlery for overnight guests.
For weddings or formal dinners, external caterers should bring (and setup):
• banquet-quality plates
• cutlery
• glassware
• serving equipment
Our daily-use items aren’t intended for formal dining, just everyday use. This also keeps the castle kitchenware available for your group’s meals during the stay, while caterers bring their own.
No — we don’t offer standalone waitstaff.
We’re not a restaurant and we don’t run a staffing pool.
When we cater The Castle Feast, the service team is:
• us — the owners
• plus our extended castle family
It’s the only moment during your stay when we host or serve.
Because of that, our team is not available for:
• self-catered dinners
• external catering setups
For any other meal you’ll need:
• your own helpers, or
• an external caterer with a full team (service, equipment, cleanup).
This keeps the weekend smooth — and ensures whoever is serving is properly equipped.
Occasionally, yes.
We release a few dates per year for individual suite stays.
Contact us to be added to The List.

Yes — designer cotton sateen linens, Aegean cotton towels, and organic toiletries.

Yes — and filtered.
Yes.
No — but it can be booked as an add-on (see Housekeeping).
Yes.
Yes — reliable Wi-Fi throughout the estate.
Yes — central heating throughout the castle + AC in 5 upstairs suites.
Thick stone walls keep the ground floors comfortable in summer. Fans are available in rooms without A/C.
Yes — onsite parking for up to 40 vehicles.
Yes — kids are welcome, and pets are spoiled.
See Kids & Pets section for details.
Yes — for couples who book The Castle Feast, we offer wedding planning as an optional add-on.
Because the Feast means we’re onsite with our full team, it allows us to support the flow of your day in a natural, seamless way that actually works.
We offer three levels of planning support:
• Comprehensive
• Partial
• Day-of coordination
Most couples choose Comprehensive, since it allows them to enjoy the experience without juggling logistics.
Here’s the thing:
We’re not planners on the sidelines. We’ve spent decades in hospitality — cooking, serving, designing florals, creating atmosphere — and we know this place down to the last candle, tree, and wine glass.
We work with trusted vendors who understand the estate, and we know exactly what works (and what doesn’t) here.
Planning with us means a collaboration rooted in experience, good taste, and a calm, effortless flow.
For details, just email hello@castlerental.com.
If you’re self-catering or bringing an external caterer, your team must manage wedding logistics, setup, timelines, service, and the entire flow of the day.
We won’t be onsite in the same way, so planning support isn’t available for these stays.
Alongside The Feast and planning support, we offer:
• Florals & candles for Feast tables (simple, natural arrangements that suit the aesthetic)
• Housekeeping (great for multi-day or self-catered stays)
• Dancefloor & AV equipment — disco ball, lighting, pro mixer
• Massages & wellness treatments
You’re welcome to bring your own vendors — they just need to be fully self-sufficient (staffing, equipment, setup, cleanup).
Housekeepers are not kitchen staff.
Yes — ceremonies are welcome as part of your overnight group stay.
Absolutely. Most couples marry under the centuries-old trees.
Just be sure to plan for an indoor ceremony in case of rain (the West Wing works well).
Late afternoon — always.
The light is softer, and your photos will be far more flattering.
Typical timing:
• Summer golden light: 19:00–20:30
• Ceremony before dinner: 16:00–17:00 works beautifully
Midday ceremonies (12:00–14:00) are not recommended — harsh light, flat photos, and lots of squinting.
CATHOLIC CEREMONY RULES
In Poland, Catholic weddings must be held inside a church.

A symbolic ceremony is a non-legal, non-religious ceremony focused entirely on your story and values.
It can include your own vows, readings, traditions, or modern elements.
It may be led by a:
• friend
• family member
• or a professional celebrant
Symbolic ceremonies are especially popular here because they allow complete flexibility and feel deeply personal.
Most couples at the palace choose a symbolic (humanist-style) ceremony.
It’s flexible, personal, and can take place anywhere on the estate — in the park, under the trees, or indoors if needed.
A symbolic ceremony avoids the timing and paperwork of civil or religious weddings and creates a relaxed, intimate atmosphere.
Our suggestion:
Handle the legal part (civil or religious) in your home city before the weekend.
Then enjoy a beautiful symbolic ceremony at the palace as the main celebration.
It keeps your wedding day simple, meaningful, and unhurried.
Yes — only if we are catering The Feast.
We set up our antique wooden dining chairs/benches outdoors and return them inside afterward. If you’re self-catering or using external caterers, your team must handle this — or you can rent chairs separately.
Our chairs can’t remain outdoors after the ceremony due to weather/humidity.
• If we’re catering the Feast:
The ballroom includes banquet tables, black master chairs, linens, and all tableware shown in the Feast offer.
• If you’re self-catering:
You’ll need to rent tables, chairs, linens, and tableware for any formal or seated meal.
What about the dining room and terrace?
These spaces include the everyday tables and chairs shown in the virtual tour, suitable for up to 46 overnight guests for casual breakfasts, lunches, and relaxed dinners.
All other rooms stay furnished as shown in the virtual tour — they’re lived-in spaces, not event halls.
Allowed:
• Natural flower petals or rice outdoors
• Sparklers
• Dripless candles in proper holders
• Cold fountains (with a professional team)
Not allowed:
• Synthetic confetti or glitter (hard to clean; environmentally harmful)
• Plastic décor of any kind
• Fireworks — the estate is home to deer, foxes, rabbits, hedgehogs, chickens, and many protected birds
• Sky lanterns — they cause fires and environmental damage
• Balloon releases — harmful to local wildlife and the surrounding countryside
Why:
We protect the natural environment and the animals who live on the estate. Everything must be low-impact, biodegradable, and safe.
Yes — and it makes a world of difference.

A stay here feels less like renting a venue and more like being given the keys to a private home — just one that happens to be a 19th-century countryside castle.
For a few days, the place is genuinely yours: the suites, the salons, the kitchen, the park, the whole estate. No staff hovering, no other guests, no shared spaces. Just your group settling in, cooking together, wandering the grounds, and living in the house as if it were your own.
It’s comfortable, characterful, and incredibly easy to sink into.
People love the privacy, the calm, and that rare mix of “historic castle” and “feels like home” — something you don’t find often, especially at this scale.
It’s simple, personal, and completely yours while you’re here.
And that’s exactly the point.
