Leonieszimmer

Design Inspirations:

The Leonieszimmer suite reflects the personal journey of Leonie Ossowski. Unlike the other suites inspired by her novels, this space pays tribute to her life at the castle. Nostalgic details, such as a vintage typewriter and inkwell, connect guests to Leonie’s creative world. Those who knew her recall that this room was her own as a young girl growing up in the castle. From the large bay window, she would observe the bustling activity on the carriageway below. Today, the window features a cozy nook with cushions and pillows—a perfect spot for reflection, musing, or simply soaking in the surroundings.

Historical Background:

Leonie Ossowski spent her formative years at The Palace at Osowa Sien, and the Leonieszimmer suite stands as a tribute to her remarkable life. From this very room, young Leonie would gaze out over the carriageway, drawing inspiration from the world unfolding below—moments that would later influence scenes in her novels. Now, guests can step into her world, experiencing the same views and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere thoughtfully designed to spark creativity, reflection, and a touch of whimsy.
